Every child holds a world within them. Inder taught us that.
Our Story
Named after Inder. Built for every Inder out there.
Inder Foundation Trust began with one mother, one child, and a question that millions of families ask in silence: Where do I begin?
When Sai Kavitha KrishnaIyengar navigated the world of early autism intervention for her son Inder, she discovered that useful information and research existed, but it was fragmented, inaccessible, and often overwhelming for a family on its own. She decided to change that.
The Trust is named after Inder—not as a story of struggle, but as a story of possibility. When families receive timely information and meaningful support, children can communicate, participate, and grow in their own ways.
Founded in Bangalore · Rooted in evidence · Driven by empathy
Our Vision
A world where every child on the autism spectrum is identified early, supported meaningfully, and celebrated—and where no family has to navigate this journey alone.
Our Mission
To bridge the gap between evidence-informed early intervention and families in India through accessible resources, community support, and awareness for children aged 0–7 years and their caregivers.
Our Values
- Family First: Parents and caregivers are essential partners in a child’s learning.
- Evidence-Informed: Guidance should be grounded in credible research and qualified practice.
- Inclusive: Every child and family deserves dignity, access, and belonging.
- Community: Shared experience and practical support reduce isolation.
- Early Action: Timely support helps families respond with confidence.
- Transparency: Plain language, clear sources, and no unnecessary gatekeeping.
Meet the Founder
Dr (HC) Sai Kavitha KrishnaIyengar
Founder · Advocate · Single Mom
Sai Kavitha KrishnaIyengar is a global delivery leader, inclusion champion, speaker, and technology professional. The role she holds closest to her heart is mother to Inder—a child who showed her that raising a child with additional needs is not a detour from purpose; it can become the purpose.
As a single mother parenting a child on the autism spectrum, Sai experienced the maze of information, gaps in accessible support, and isolation that families can face in India. Inder Foundation Trust is her response—not only for Inder, but for every parent asking what comes next.
With more than 25 years of global leadership experience and a personal commitment to inclusion, Sai brings professional rigour and lived empathy to the Trust. Its educational work complements, rather than replaces, guidance from qualified clinicians and therapists.
She is also the creator of The Inder Way with Sai Kavitha, an awareness series that makes evidence-informed knowledge feel like a useful conversation rather than a clinical manual.
