Parents and caregivers of a newly diagnosed child, or families revisiting an overwhelming early support plan.

  • How to read the assessment report and prepare follow-up questions
  • Choosing two functional goals that matter in daily life
  • Coordinating health, communication, education and family priorities
  • Questions to ask before committing to a therapy package
  • Recognising cure promises, pressure and unsupported claims
  • Protecting caregiver capacity and planning sustainable support

What to bring

A notebook and a copy of your questions—not a child’s private reports. Individual records will not be reviewed in the public session.

Important scope

This session provides general education. It cannot diagnose a child, recommend an individual treatment plan or replace care from a qualified professional who knows the child and family.
